Are you a University /College Student in Kenya with dreams and aspirations, seeking guidance to unlock your full potential? Garden of Hope Foundation is thrilled to announce an incredible opportunity for 50 dedicated students across Kenya to participate in our Coaching/Education Program in collaboration with the esteemed International Coaching Federation (ICF). The purpose of this partnership is to provide students in Kenya with the opportunity to learn coaching skills, consider coaching as a profession, and gain access to ICF through our member resource groups (MRG)
At Garden of Hope Foundation, we believe in nurturing young minds and providing them with the tools they need to thrive and succeed. Through this partnership with ICF, we are offering an exclusive coaching and leadership experience that aims to empower students, helping them develop essential life skills, clarify their goals, and build a strong foundation for their future endeavors.
Program Highlights:
Coaching Education: Students will participate in an eight-week (16 hours) coaching education program to gain knowledge in coaching basics, coaching core competencies, and coaching as a profession.
Personalized Coaching: Each selected student will be paired with an ICF-credentialed coach. This coaching will be tailored to help you maximize your potential in the academic, personal, and professional spheres of your growth. The m entors will also help the student learn about coaching a professional.
Goal Setting and Achievement: Learn the art of effective goal setting and gain strategies to achieve them. Your coach will work with you to create a roadmap for success and provide regular check-ins to ensure your progress.
Skill Enhancement: Develop essential skills such as communication, time management, leadership, and decision-making, which are crucial for personal and academic growth.
Networking Opportunities: Connect with like-minded peers and professionals through workshops, seminars, MRG platform, and networking events, expanding your horizons and building valuable relationships.
Eligibility Criteria:
Open to 50 students from across all the Universities/Colleges in and from all academic disciplines.
Passionate individuals committed to personal growth and development.
Strong desire to learn, grow, and contribute positively to their community.
Willingness to commit to five (5) 1-hour coaching sessions over a period of 6 months
Willing to travel to Nairobi for 2 days for graduation, networking, and peer learning.
Must be willing to participate fully in the 8-week coaching education program and pay a non-refundable commitment fee o f Ksh 1,500
Students must have an interest in learning about the coaching profession.
Application Process:
Write a brief essay (300-500 words) explaining why you are interested in participating in this coaching program and how you believe it will benefit your personal and academic journey. Selected applicants will be invited for an interview to assess their commitment and suitability for the program.
