Martin Kabugi finished secondary school in 2019 and planned to start university. While waiting, he joined Garden of Hope's leadership and entrepreneurship classes.
When COVID-19 closed institutions, Martin drew on his training to start a poultry-farming project as a source of income. Within four months, other young people from his community were approaching him for advice on starting and running similar ventures.
