Floridah is a graduate of the University of Nairobi with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Communication studies. She graduated with a double major in Sociology and Communication studies . Floridah is an active member of Youth Alliance for Leadership Development in Africa (YALDA) and National Youth Guidance and Counseling Association (NYGCA) where she trained as a professional counsellor. she is also a certified HIV testing and counseling service provider by National STIs Control Program (NASCOP).
As the project coordinator of NYGCA, she managed to introduce practical counseling sessions for the trainees. This program is aimed at ensuring that the trainees are competent enough to provide counseling services to the community.
Presently, Floridah lives in Nairobi and works at Garden of Hope Foundation in Kibera. She is serving as the Program Coordinator. Floridah is currently working on a study to establish the gap between boys and girls in the context of Education and possibly implement appropriate programs to help in bridging the gap.
